As you know, before the flight and being in the airplane, we are always warned that the interaction of mobile devices with the aircraft systems can lead to malfunctions in the navigation and communication systems, and we are asked to turn on our gadgets to the airplane mode.

However, an exclusive investigation by our editorial team showed thatone of the passengers on the plane did not turn on flight mode on his smartphone during takeoff and landing, and as a result… nothing happened.

We tried to contact the Jetlag Airlines company, but they refused to comment on the situation. However, we managed to find some passengers who were on the board and for whom this precedent did not go unnoticed.

Eyewitness opinion

“It was terrible,” said one of the passengers. “Takeoff and landing were a complete stress for me, I almost had a heart attack. My husband had a stroke a few months ago, fortunately, I’m flying without him now, or he wouldn’t have survived such stress.”

“He was so busy with his work the whole flight, but it’s not him that bothers me but the flight attendants who did not ask him to turn on airplane mode,” added another passenger.

Who could have thought that a small button on a mobile phone could lead to consequences that could have ended in tragedy?

“I saw him. He knew it would be very dangerous,” confesses one more passenger of the ill-fated flight. “But when he saw that nothing was happening, he just continued working. And finally, at the end of the flight, he finished all his reports. That’s what he whispered to me when we landed.”

Kind reminder

We remind you that this story is a warning and a reminder of the dangers that can arise if you do not follow aviation rules. Please, do not repeat this trick. Life is more valuable than work, especially since you are endangering not only your own life but also other passengers and the crew.
